Lando Norris has resisted any notion that he is playing minds games in conjunction with Daniel Ricciardo, and claims that he is actually aiding his fellow Australian.

While Norris is in seventh place at the top of his position in World Championship standings with 76 points

Ricciardo has only 19 points after what has turned out to be a tough 2022 season in the first three months of the 33-year-old.

This is in line with his struggles with McLaren the year 2021. a season where he was largely under-performed by Norris.

Since since then, Norris has spoken of his efforts to assist Ricciardo in his adaptation for the new MCL36 and as such has denied the notion of mind games being played.

He then clarified that this isn't the case and that the team is trying to help Ricciardo.

"I'm trying to assist him in any way I can. It's to benefit our team as a whole to be able to be able to beat Alpine at the finish of the day."

In his attempts to help Ricciardo, Norris admits that he is probably sharing more than he usually would with a teammate.
